In the Thursday night NFL Draft in Dallas, several franchises have their future put the next Joe Montana in search. It is a quarter of a century research was: from Montana after a 1994 season in retirement, probably the only two quarterbacks – Tom Brady and Peyton Manning – San Francisco 49ers legend measured up, the four titles won Super Bowl. (Brady passed his childhood hero in Super Bowl rings, won five). During a heart awareness campaign working to increase the disease, Montana has spoken time he thinks the greatest quarterback of all time debates, the project, and why that Colin Kaepernick is no longer an NFL work. (This interview sake of clarity edited and condensed) So who is better, or Tom Brady? Oh, I, of course. I have enough time to respond? [Laughs]. It ‘really hard to compare guys. I said, long before Tom had this fourth [Super Bowl] victory. You look at guys who played before me, Sammy Baugh, Otto Graham, like comparing a man who then not only, but now restored to me at that time, if you do not hit, they are not the clothes ripped from wide receiver because I am from the line of scrimmage. The game is so different; it is really hard to compare. Tom had a huge, huge career. It can be [best of Montana]. I just think it’s really hard to do. As in the Bay Area, you have lots of Colin Kaepernick. You think I do because of the anthem controversy in the NFL to play, or because of deficiencies in his game? If you look at a lot of guys coming out of these read-option type systems, they have great early. You can return to RGIII, [it is] the same: once [defense] gets figured out, the guys are not used to playing in the pocket and to see the defense from the inside, and since exactly the same time. It ‘a bit’ easier than is the case now, perhaps for the kids because they took this part usually hit late in the pocket. But you have to be right there. During these years he was fighting, he was in the low 50s and ’40s as a percentage of completion. [Editor’s note: Kaepernick worst single-season completion percentage was 58.4% in 2013; San Francisco concluded that the 12-4] season. Tim Tebow was the same way. It messed with Tim so much, got to solve this problem, got it right, let the game boy. He did well in school, let’s see if he can play or not. It ‘s too late to fix if they get someone in the NFL. Tim was winning the games, and he was somewhere in the neighborhood 48-49% at one point. [Editor’s note: Tebow finished the 2011 season with a completion percentage of 46.5%, and led the Broncos to victory playoffs]. He could not hold on. Figure out what players make a protest during the national anthem? Or do you think that players should not protest during the anthem? Back when I was playing, or until you have all the media, are all these types. play the game. Pass your other stuff on a social external support that, no matter what the sport. Ex-UCLA coach Jim Mora told Sports Illustrated that his former quarterback, top NFL draft prospect Josh Rosen, “has many interests in life. If you fail to maintain its level of concentration and focus on football for a few years he set the world on fire. “It can be an effective NFL player and have other passions. Or do you need all the time to stop? I think there are a lot of free time to vested interests, post-season. It’s really difficult. If you have enough time to be the season to do while others, then something is wrong. Probably you not set particularly at the quarterback position in good time. I never found the time, week by week. You need to focus. He will make enough money to be. It does not need to worry about other things during the season. So if you were a GM, Josh Rosen would have outside interests that interest you? I think one of the problems is that they are these days in which the microscope. I mean, every little pipsqueak, errors, are not looking he can do, he can do? Okay, we can find a bad thing? ‘That seems to be the nature of our world today. Instead of ‘Hey, he’s a young guy.’ You should be glad that he is concerned about the environment. If he does not play football, it would be going, ‘Oh, this is a great thing.’ There are too many eyes on all these days. Both the boy home. Let’s find him. He will discover soon. After Jimmy Garoppolo, a former backup to Tom Brady, has arrived with the New England Patriots a business in the Bay Area on the left, he has 5-0 as a starter the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. The team has rewarded him with a contract made I shed the strongest players in the NFL. There are a lot of hope in San Francisco now – Garoppolo is the guy? What you said is where it should be all right. There’s a lot of hope. I think it’s still a bit ‘not tested – especially the kind of money they paid for him. He could be the guy. I do not know. He obviously did a little ‘different – or a big difference – the team at the end of the season last year. And ‘the end of the season, and go to other teams, we have oh 49ers? ‘Or what? When you see the guys who have defected from behind great quarterback – Tom as three had been, [and] go back to the [Dan] Marino with [Scott] Mitchell and play Elvis Grbac behind Steve Young – if you leave this system has existed for a long time success rate of zero. Hopefully this is the first for all 49er fans out there, and organization. I just think we have to wait and let them play. His two sons have played college football. But science has yet emerged to shed light on the dangers of injury to the head during the game. you have to know what you know now, would you let your children play football? Yes, but I think a lot more flag football will see – especially young children – until more mature and get things for themselves. And take many of these realities first head hits the children off, because no matter what they do with helmets, and how you try to protect [results] will still have repetitive. Are you worried about your future? I’m not sure how I can still judge from that. There are times when my wife IT issues; there are times that it does not. I’m not worried. I’m 61, I month in a pair of 62 will be here, and I’m just getting old, period. But I have seen many people in which he had about them a tremendous effect, unfortunately. They were promoting the campaign around the “Breakaway from heart disease.” Because you are passionate about this topic? Both my wife and family was done by heart disease. His father died at an early age away. My mother had high blood pressure, high cholesterol. His two brothers had heart attacks. My grandfather went away from heart disease at 54, I’m pretty sure. And so with all this information in front of me, I never thought, really, that I get heart disease and high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Fortunately for me, after I retired, you went to a normal physical and my blood pressure was high. So my doctor, we have been monitoring for a while ‘, and then I thought Ahhhh, will go without worries. ‘But there’s never been. So we started working on a game plan. To me it does not change in lifestyle, not only, but also drugs. And we had the opportunity to be part of it and get the word out there. This is the number one killer of Americans out there. We are able to check if you only know the risks. Do you know what your blood pressure and cholesterol levels. And make some changes. All you have to do is with the doctor. This is everything we say. Is there something you want to be different in your career? One thing that I would probably have not been eliminated so early. The other is, I found a little ‘more time to spend with my kids when they were growing up additional hour. Because if they were at a younger age that they wanted a lot of emotions, but I knew I still had a lot of work. My wife was great with them, and she had more influence there. But I missed growing up, the young sometimes. As I understood, it was really too late in their lives. If I could do it again, I could go back and different, that some do. Why did you want that you continued playing? The game is just too funny. Also, it is cold turkey when you leave. I would like to play as long as I could, because the Sunday afternoon game was so exciting. You have to send for a year at NBC having retired, right? I was led to talk about what was to show as seen by a player from. Later, the producers are really no need to worry about your point of view, as long as you are noisy, argumentative and final. No need to be right – that part is, I did not. Actually, something happened to the Super Bowl. We had all the phones next to us. We made the game Pittsburgh-Dallas. I took the phone and called my wife and go, I go. I’m going away. I will not put up with it. I can not tun.’Sie goes, ‘No, you can not. At least the game Jump to beenden.’Es just was not for me. It would have been surprising Joe Montana out of the crowd during the Super Bowl to see. [Laughs] I was close. Believe me. Picture copyright by Ezra Shaw Getty Images
